Under “The Rating Act, 1908,” “The Road Districts Act, 1908,” and “The Local Bodies Loans Act, 1908,” respectively. PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given that the Upper Wangaehu Road Board will, at an ordinary meeting to be held in the Board’s Office, Taihape, on WEDNESDAY, Ist AUGUST, 1917, at 10 a.m. make and levy a General Rate under “The Road Districts Act, 1908,” of one penny (Id) in the pound on the Capital value of all rateable property within the Upper Wangaehu Road B’oard District for the period commencing on the Ist day of April 1917, and ending on 31st March 1918, such rates to be payable in one instalment on the 25th September 1917, at the Clerk’s Office, Taihape.
