report for the week: — At Hunterville on Tuesday we had good yardings of both sheep and cattle. There was a much better demand and prices for all classes of stock showed improvement. At Taihape on Wednesday a heavy yarding of sheep and a fair one of cattle came to hand. Good ewes in lamb and hoggets were in keen demand. At Mangaweka on Thursday a small yarding sold at prices highly satisfactory to vendors. We quote Hunterville: Good hoggets 25/9. med-ium-"hoggets 17/4, 19/9, cull hoggets, 13/-, 4 and 5 year ewes in lamb 29/-, 29/6, 2-tooth to 4 year ditto 33/5, 34/-, 2-tooth ditto small 30/- 2 and 4-tooth ditto good 39/-, Empty heifers £4/10/-, £5/5/-. Store cows £7/6/- Forward cows £S, £9/5/-, Fat cows £l2/15/-, cows in calf £9/10/-, cull cows £3, Spring heifers £6/16/-, £7/10/-, Best dairy cows £l4/10/-, £lB. Good sorts £ll/10/£l2. ( At Taihape: 2-tooth wethers 33/-, small ditto 29/6, 2-tooth to 4 year ewes in lamb 37/6, cull ditto 16/- to 18/3, Good lambs 22/-, 24/5, medium ditto 16/1, 17/9. cull ditto S/-, 12/- 2 year steers £lO/2/6 .cow in milk £l6, Mangaweka: M/aged ewes in lamb 23/3, small M/S. 2-tooths 26/2, M/S lambs 22/11.
