"STUPENDOUS INCREASE." LONDON, July 13. iSpeaking in the House of Lords, Lord Derby, Secretary of State for War, said the increase in the monthly output of aeroplanes was so stupendous that it had taxed the training of pilots and the provision of aerodromes to the utmost. The Minister for Munitions, Dr 0. Addison, in an interview, stated that 1000 factories were manufacturing aeroplanes, and the output was increasing by leaps and bounds. Now it w*as three times greater than it was .last year, and by December 31, the present production would be doubled. The monthly output of last April had already been doubled, and would be redoubled before the end of the year. The Ministry's aeroplane programme, Dr. Addison said, was at present at its maximum production.
