ON THE CaRSO. ITALIANS' QUARTER-MILE GAIN. Rome, July 19. A considerable movement, of Austrian troops in the rear of the- Isonzo and Carso fronts is taken as an indication that the enemy has been obliged to send reinforcements to the Russian front. The Italians profited by the situation, intensifying their artillery fire, especially along the Carso, thus engaging large Austrian contingents. Simultaneously they advanced their positions at the same points 700 yards. GREUCS. ATXTtS HANDING OVER CAPTURES. ATHENS, July 20. The protecting Powers have restored the island of Thasos to Tireece. The Allies have notified Greece that the Greek light flotilla will be restored in a few days. BULGARIANS ARREST GREEK OFFICIALS. Received 9.10. ATHENS, July 20.
Before the departure of the Greek Minister from Sofia, the Bulgarians arrested the first secretary of the Minister, an attache, and several' other officials of Greek families.
