The vessel le£t a New Zealand port some weeks ago for a Pacific Coast port. She was due at her destination over a fortnight ago, and, although efforts have been, made to get into touch with the; steamer by wH*Btess, no tidings have been received as to her possible whereabouts. Other steamers of the Union Company's fleet which use the same track as the Overdue vessel have been istructed by tfj keep a sharp lookout for her.
