THRZS STARS. Another of those delightful “Metro” Pictures entitled “The Snowbird” will occupy the screen to-night for two hours. “The Snowbird” set amid the land of whispering pines, the laird of the Northern shows, is a picture which more than maintains the. high Metro standard, both from the. standpoint of an intense and absorbing story, and for the high quality of the acting. Many' magnificent snow scenes are used, and the glimpses of backwoods life in the lumber district of the silent North are from actual happenings. The supporting comedy “Love me. Love my Dog,” by Max Pigman. £2OOO worth of dog is used in this comedy, ranging from a tiny French poodle to a magnificent St. Bernard. A £2OO prize bulldog, a wolf hound, bird dogs, water spaniels, a mastiff, and a dachshund all do their bit. To-morrow night Mary Pickford in “Cinderella.”
EVERYBODY S. A film beyond criticisim is. the big Lasky production ‘Armstrong’s Wife’ at Everybodys. The settings are copied from luxuries of the modern society world, and the plot combines love and intrigue in a fascinating manner. Other pictures of merit are also screened.
