NEW SOUTH WALES RETURNS. Received 9 a.m. SYDNEY, this day. New South Wales revenue for the year is £20,539,000. an increase of £836,000; expenditure £19,553,900, an increase of £1.254,500 compared with previous year. BRITISH REVENUE AND EXPENDITURE. Received 9 a.m. LONDON, July 1. The revenue for the June quarter is £115,959,286, an increase of £43, 600,000, compared with the last corresponding period. The most striking increase is in excess profits duty, including munitions levy. It is £35.000,000 in excess of the 1916 period, which was. £6,000,000; the amount is now £41,000,000. The expenditure chargeable against the revnue is £671,000,000.
