The committee presented an ultimatum, demanding within twelve hours the release of its arrested leaders, coupled with official recognition and sanction for the committee to confidentially advise. General Marina telegraphed the King that practically the entire army defied the authorities. The demands were immediately satisfied. REPORT OF CRISIS DENIED. MADRID, June IS. The Foreign Minister has instructed the Spanish Ambassadors to categorically deny statements that Spain is- passing through a revolutionary crisis.
