An impressive Famous Players pho toplay is announced for presentation at Everybody’s to-night “Th e Pretty Sister of Jose” is the picture referred to. It is a dramatisation of the capital story written by Mrs. Frances Hodg-son-Burnett, of “Little Lord Fauntleroy” fame, and is said to be quite one of the best of the many good novel dra matisation. The story is one of quick action, full of emotional situations, and ripe with the rich colouring of Sunny Spain ,where the plot is laid. It will re-introduce that popular picture favourite, Marguerite Clark, who, with her fascinating beauty and charming grace, is especially adapted to the role of the dainty little dark-eyed bells of old Spain. As the exquisite Spanish girl of a thousand moods and whims, who has vowed never to lose her heart, but who, when finally conquered by the handsome Sebastiano, loved truly and devotedly, she is delighted Supporting the picture are an amusing cartoon subject and other pictures.
