CHRISTIANS A, June 7. The serious food situation has re suited in great popular demonstrations throughout Norway. The Government,, in order to prevent riots. has prohibited the sale of alcoholic liquor for three days. AM restaurants have boon closed, shop-, stores. and schools s&ut, and gasworks and electricity plants have been closed. Almost all workmen are striking, and work in Norway is practically at a standstill.
