AMUSEMENTS.
EVERYBODYS. "The Unwelcome Mrs. Hatch," a powerful dramatic picture play by the Famous Players Company, will be screened for the last time to-night. It is an intensely interesting play, which holds the earnest attention of the audience from first to last The story itself is good, but the acting is better. The part of Mrs Hatch is played by Henrietta Grosman, one of the stars of the picture-play firmament, and her work is so real, so convincing that the spectator may well be forgiven for forgetting that he is simply looking at a screen upon which the work of the cinematograph is being projected. The acting in fact is the great feature of the production. Supports include a third episode of the interesting circus serial, "Peg o' the Ring." To-morrow's change of programme will be headed by a picture which the management has kept specially in reserve with a view to introducing country visitors to see that popular picture favourite, Marguerite Clark, in one of the greatest triumphs of the magnetic star's carecr r "The Pretty Sister of Jose. Speaking of her performance as the heroine in the title role, the "Picture MagaaMe" says: "As the dark-eyed maid of a thousand moods and whims, Marguerite Clark is absolutely superb." THREE STARS. Is divorce becoming too easy? Some people describe the divorce question as "a great and growing evil." Others can point to many cases where it has been justified. It is a grave and difficult Question. How grave, how difficult, and how easily productive of cruel injustice it may be, is strikingly exemplified in the World Film Corporation's original and intensely dramatic success "The Perils of Divorce" to be presented at the Three Stars tonight only. In addition to the above star a Pathe coloured picture "Fowls and Game Gaumont Graphic, and a very investing production "A Jungle Comedy," will be shown. Tomorrow night "Her Maternal Rights" will be shown for one night only, and to miss this you miss the finest cos*turned picture on the circuit.
