ON THE FRENCH FRONT. AIR SQUADRON'S ACTION. LONDON, June 5. A French communique says: "An attack last night restored us parts of the trenches in which the enemy obtained a footing yesterday, no/rthV west of Froidmont Farm. "In reprisal for the enemy bombardment of the open town of Bar le Duce on May 26 seven of our aeroplanes on Sunday night dropped a ton of bombs on Treves. Our air squadron also dropped fifteen tons of bombs on aerodromes at Morthauge, Hahshein, Prescati, and Sisson, and severely damaged the sheds. They also bombed several railway stations and munition depots, causing fires and explosions. Six German aeroplanes were brought down, and seven others forced down damaged behind our lines.
