Reform of the House of Lords was foreshadowed by the Hon. A. H. Long, in a statement in Ike House of Commons, when ho said the Government was so impressed by the results of the Speakers’ Electoral Conference that it had decided to establish as soon as possible a conference to discuss the report on the Second Chamber.
