FINISHING THE MENACE
LONDON, May 21. The fact that U-boats are able to fir*,' torpedoes when submerged increases their accuracy from 50 to 75 per cent. They are also sowing mines of extraordinary power. < In order to conceal the losses the submarines return to a different port, from the storting place. Mr. T. O. Jacobson, M.P. speaking at Norwood, said: “We have discovered a way by which the submarine menace will be finished.”
BRAZILIAN VESSEL TORPEDOED
PARIS, May 22 A submarine sank the Brazilian, steamer Sajulo off Britanny. Some of the crew wore saved.
