OFFER SUBMITTED TO MEN.

WELLINGTON, this day

The Coal Conference of owners submitted a final offer to the miners of an additional war bonus of 7| per cent, on pre-war rates; to contract workers 20 per cent to wages, making a total increase of 7i and 20 per cent, respectively on pre-war wages. This offer is conditional on working conditions remaining as at present.
