At the late General M-eeting of r.ne New Zealand Newspaper Proprietors' Association, it was unanimously decided that, an increase in the selling price of papers was necessary, owing to the heavy advance in the landed cost of news printing paper, and tne increased cost of Newspaper production generally, due to conditions arising out of the war.
