AMUSEMENTS.

EVERYBODY'S.

The new programme which will be screened to-night at Everybody 7 s is headed by another Famous Players production, entitled “The Fatal Card.' 7 Hazel Dawn, a. charming and competent actress, who has become very popular among picture lovers, takes the leading role, and she has with her an impressive cast of well-known players. The story is of a romantic and exciting kind that is sure to find favour with most picture habitues. Another important item on the bill is the 21st episode of the “Broken Coin' 7 serial.

THREE 3TAES.

“The Internationa] Censoring of Mails’ 7 is a topical of timely interest which illustrates most vividly German duplicity and cunning and the magnificent work of the British and French censors. Without undue delay and inconvenience to neutrals, the task of preventing contraband being sent to Germany from abroad by alien enemies is diligently performed. Innocent looking parcels and newspapers, when unfolded, reveal gold and valuable jewellery, rubber, fats, and foods, invaluable commodities to Germany. In many instances the postage paid by friends of the enemy is three times the value of the confiscated consignments. The speed with which the censoring of letters takes place by experts in fifteen languages is made apparent by the fact that 353 sacks of censored letters go on the way with a total delay of only 24 hours. The great star picture “West Wind” which drew a big house last night, will be screened tb-night for the last time.
