A NEW PHARMACY

A new pharmacy, or what' is more often called a chemist's shop, has been opened in Taihapc. The new establishment is quite on modern lines, and is befitting a rapidly progressing town such as this is. The proprietor is Mr W. H. Fookes, an experienced, qualified, and registered pharmacist, who also owns and conducts a large chemist's and Druggist's business in Auckland. The first and most important feature of the new pharmacy is its prescription department, which is stocked with very nearly every drug and accessory used in medicine. This department has the entire personal attention of Mr Fookes himself, so that patrons may rely absolutely on having their medicines compounded with the drugs prescribed by the doctor. The interior of the shop has been redesigned by Mr Fookes, that a mor 0 than ordinary fine stock of toilet requisites rnd photographic goods may be displayed to the best advantage. As the new Chemist has had special experience in sheep and cattle medicines* and in veterinary matters generally he confidently appeals to farmers and stock-breeders to give him a trial consultation. Everything required in veterinary medicines and very large supplies of veterinary appliances are stocked, and are at all times available. Mp. Fookes in an advertisement on states that money can be saved by dealing at his pharmacy—prices are right. ;
