OFFERS TO RUSSIA.
VARIOUS DEVICES ADOPTED
PBTROGRAD, April 26
The Germans are making unremitting attempts to parley with the Russian soldiers. They display placards, "Do not attack. We will not." For several days on many sectors of the front, the Germans have not fired a shot. German aeroplanes dropped proclamations alleging that there is a popular movement in Germany in favour of immediately negotiating an honourable peace. Many AustroGerman parties, carrying red and white flags, attempted to reach the Russians' trenches, despite being fired on. Some were prisonercd. They affirmed that the enemy ranks, especially the Socialists, desired an immediate peace. Latest reports are that the Russian artillery is increasing in activity at various points.
TURKEY MAY OFFER DARDANELLES CONCESSIONS. LONDON, April 27. Count RevenloAV informs the German Press that Talaat Pasha is visiting Germany and conferring with naval and military experts regarding possible Dardanelles concessions to Russia.

LONDON, April 27
French Macedonian communique.— The British attacked Avest of Lake Doiran during- the night of the 24th25th. We captured trenches over 1000 metres front. North of the Kras-tal-Idoldzale line we consolidated positions, repulsing four counter-attacks and inflicting sanguinary losses.
