BY Regulations under the above Act, every person usually holding '.stocks of FIVE TONS or over is required to furnish a return of the quantity in stock on the 30th April, 1917. Officers of the Post and Telegraph Department are authorised to collect these returns and any return not called for by 4th May, 1917, should be immediately handed in to the nearest Post Office or posted direct to “The Government Statistician, Wellington?’ The penalty for neglect or refusal to supply the return is £2O.
