SIX YEARS' IMPRISONMENT,
ASYLUM CLERK SENTENCED
WELLINGTON, this day
Thomas Silsby, clerk of the Mental Hospitals Department, was sentenced by the Chief Justice to-day to six years' imprisonment for forgery and uttering. Defalcations totalled £2,770, of which nearly £2,500 was recovered.
