A mystery surrounds the finding of the body of Mrs Sylvia James (formerly a school teacher in New Zealand) in tlic scrub on George’s River, at Wat ley. Mrs James had apparently been dead several weeks. Her husband states that his wife had been missing since January 27. When passing Cabramatta .Station she promised to await/his Ire turn, but disappeared, and all efforts to trace her failed. The police have detained the man.
