Sir, —Have Chinamen a vote in the borough election, and are they eligible for a seat on the Council? If so —and they keep on (joining —they will soon run the show. They are getting too numerous hereabouts, aiyl need thinning down.—l am, etc., LIONEL TERRY. (There ar e no Chinese on the Taihape Municipal Electors' Roll, therefore it is probable that Chinese residents in this borough have not sought naturalisation.—Editor.)
