NATIONAL DAIRY SHOW, 1917.
The fourteenth of these annual fixtures is set do'-ui to be hold at Palmerston North on 20th. 21st, 22nd June next, and those of our readers who intend competing thereat, are hereby reminded that it is 3iow time to be thinking of the preparations needful for success thereat. The Breeders’ consignment Cattle Sale, inaugurated last year will be held again this year, and the Mauawatu Poultry Association’s Championship show is set down for the 20th, 21st, 22nd of June. The prize schedule which is now in the course of preparation includes Butter, Cheese, Honey, Fruit and Vegetable Championships, Field Roots, Farm Produce, Grain, Seeds Peer Heads, ’Amateur photography, Art, Needlework, Crockery, Preserves, Ring and Milk Testing Competitions.
Arrangements have been completed for the Annual Test Football Matches between Wanganui and Te Ante (Native) Colleges, which will be played off on Wednesday the 20th June. The annual Meetings and Conferences of the National Dairy Association and N.Z. Dairy Factory Managers will take place in the Lecture Hall as customary. General entries are due to close on 2nd June Cattle entries 10th May, and applications for space should bo made at once. All information may be had from the Secretary, Mr W. T.
