“A Romance of Billy Goat Hill.”— This five-reel number, based on a story by Alice Hegan Rice, is one ol rounded interest and satisfying quail ties. The plot is one of the less fervid type, but has a strong and dram atic close. Myrtle Gonzalez is verj pleasing as th e Southern girl, knowr the country over as Miss Lady. Sh( falls in love with a young man namet Don Morley, well portrayed by Va Paul. Morley is a youth of wild ten dencies, but promises the girl that h( will leave off gambling and drinking if she will marry him. A shooting then occurs and Morley leaves th country to avoid testifying against friend. During his absence the frie permits the country at large to 1 lieve Morley did the shooting. Mi! Lady is heart broken, marries an ol professor in order to save hey home Morley returns on the night of th ball. The trial of Morley later is al£ well handled. He is saved by th
