A GRUESOME DISCOVERY

The body of a man named J. V. McDonald was found yesterday' at the foot of a high cliff on the river-bed at Winiata, in a forvvaard stage cf decomposition. It is reported that the body is headless, and it is believed that McDonald committed suicide by cutting his throat by the edge cf the precipice over which his body seems to have tumbled. The deceased was working for Mr. \V. J. Kuhtze, driving g van, and it ky said die expressed his intention of committing simple. An inquest is being held as we go to press .
