Some of the crew were burned to death in the vessel, others frozen to death through being exposed for hours to weather below zero. SUBMARINE SCHOOL. OPENED AT CONSTANTINOPLE. AMSTERDAM, March 26. A submarine school has been opened at Constantinople. It is managed by German naval oflicers, who teach Turkish officers and sailoiy to command and man submarines. Many students are attending the opening course.
