FIRES.

CHEESE FACTORY DESTROYED. HAWERA, tliis day. Tie Hawera Dairy Company’s Tawhiti branch cheese factory and creamery was completely destroyed by fire at midnight last night. Nothing was saved except the whey tank and men’s cottage. The fire is belived to have originated in the boiler room. Part of the factory was twenty years old. The cheese factory was insured for £550, machinery for £375 in the Phoenix office. The creamery was insured for £175 in the Phoenix, and the machinery for £307 in the State Office.
