Ohakea Hurdles.—Otter 1, Portland: Lady 2, Grey Guard 3. Scr: Ascalon, Waioture, Thruster, Slipshot, Lady Strowan, Sweet Amy. Won by half a length. Time 2.17. Carnarvon Hack. —Starengo 1, Vladineau 2, Polynesian 3. Won easily. Time, 1.15.
