AMUSEMENTS.
EVERYBODY’S. ' “The Yellow Streak,” a 5-act Metro production, which will be shown at the Town Hall to-night, shouM prove exceedingly popular. The filiS introduces a fascinating Wild West element, in which cowboys, outlaws, and brigands appear and contribute series of thrills, revolver practice being frequent and convincing, while the riding displays compel one’s admiration. The incidents of the picture are distinctly exciting, and follow one another in quick succession, a notable event being the coach hold-up and the fight between the cow-punchers and the road agents. The film introduces some very funny happenings, a particularly laughable situation occurring when one of the outlaws journeys through the forest disguised as a clergyman and riding a donkey. “The Double Cross,” a happily conceived farce, and the latest Budget, containing many bright and interesting items including a number of war scenes, are also on the bill. .
