AMUSEMENTS.

THREE STARS. For one night only will be shown ‘‘East Lynne,” taken from the book of this name, and we feel quite safe in saying there arc few who have not read this book, and it is too well known to need any comment here. The picture is a lengthy one, taking up nearly all the evening, and the screening will commence at 5.30 sharp. To-morrow night the last episode of “Stingaroe” will be shown —this will be for out night only. There will, no doubt, be packed houses for these pictures.

EVERYBODY’S.

To-night’s new programme at the Town Hall will feature Robert WarWick in a dramatic life story entitled “Fruits of Desire,” from the book “The Ambition of Mark Truitt,” by Henry Russell Miller. There is plenty of excitement in this film, and the story is an interesting one, full of genuine human interest. Accompanying films include the Eclair Journal and a splendid two-reel comedy entitled “Billy’s Love Spasm.” Another forthcoming attraction is ‘‘The Mutiny of the Bounty,” the picturisation of a remarkable Anglo-'Aus-tralasian historical happening. Much of the magnificent scenery in this great picture was photographed in New Zealand, is remarkable to a rare degree.
