ST. PATRICK'S DAY SPORTS.
Au enthusiastic meeting of the General Committee of the St. Patrick's Day Patriotic Sports was held, last night. Messrs S. Dunbar and E. Loader were added to the committee. Messrs W. J. Munro and A. M. Kyan wereelected joint secretaries. The following members of the committte were duties os follow —Gates, Messrs G. Bray and C. L_ Dymock. Boys' and Girls' Kaces and Baby Show—Messrs A. D. X. Train, G. Parker, G. Wrightson and the Eev W. P. Stent Chopping Events —Messrs E. MeLaughlan (in charge), R C. Ongley, S. Beban and E. A. Davies. Horse Events—Messrs J. Bartosh (in charge), S. Powell, T. Bradley, E. W. Spooncr, W. Doole and M. O'Dea. Physical Drill—Messrs A. D. N. Train and A. Nathan, jun. Motor Event—Messrs J. Evans (in charge), H. O'Callaghan, and W. Emerson. Chain Stepping and Golf Putting— Messrs W Kelsall, J. Champion and E. Loader. Sheep Guessing—Messrs S. Dunbar and P. Kearins, sen. Throwing Hammer, and Putting Shot —Messrs D. Ncagle, Sellars, and Sjetther Kincaid Cal Steward—Mr Ti Hema. TimekeepeiMr H. D. Bond. Judges (Chops)—Messrs J. A. Anderson, P. Quinn, W. Crossy and H. Beban. Judge Baby Show) —Dr Dowling. Handicapper (Chop)—Mr. W. Gregory. It was decided to convene a meeting of ladies willing to assist with afternoon tea. In this direction' numerous offers of assistance from ladies willing to assist have already been received. It was decided to hold the next meeting of the general committee next Tuesday, when all those on the committee and any others who are willing to assist are requested to be present.
