WOMEN'S WORKING CLUB.
The usual monthly meeting of the Taihape Women's Working Club was. held in the Club rooms on Friday, i:nd March. Present —Mesdames Shute, .in. the chairs, Knox, Turnbull, Miller, McAuliffe, Miss McAuliffe (hon. see) and Mr Munro. The minutes of the previous meeting, were read and confirmed. Accounts amounting to £39 Is ljd were passed for payment. During January and February 135. parcels were posted to the boys at the front ,and over 100 arc almost ready to p05t....... Mrs Timbs' resignation from the committee was accepted with regret. , It-.w.as decided to hold the annual public meeting of the club on. the''f irk //Wednesday in April for> the election, of ; officers * for- 1917-18. „ .
