TO-MORROW'S SHOW

The grounds on which Taihape's great annual event, the A. and P. Show, is to be held reflect the determination of the Association's officers and committeemen to make to-mor-row's exhibition a record from every point of view. Everything is in readiness for the reception of all classes of stock, and all that can be accomplished for the convenience and comfort cf visitors has not been neglected. There is a profusion of side shows on the ground, including that astounding, hair-raising act, the "Looping of the Loop," on a motor-cycle which has been drawing crowded houses at His Majesty's Theatre in Wellington, for some weeks past. The stock and competition entries beat last year's record, in fact as,year follows year, record is broken by greater record. All classes are well represented except those for draught and thoroughbred horses. What the draught class lacks in number will De somewhat compensated by the consistent prize-winning animal entered by Mr Henry Bromley. This is a district in which the draught horse will soon be in great demand, and as the price of a good horse would return an excellent profit to the breeder, it it, surprising that some farmers have not already specialised in draught stccK. The hunters and other jumping competitions are to be well contested, the entries being very numerous. Visitors will have the pleasure of seeing Wairarapa crack jumpers competing against the Taihape horses, which should be productive of close and very interesting events. The luncheon booth will be under the management of the ladies of the Taihape branch of the Red Cross Society, and they may be trusted to do all that is required in satisfying the inner man.

As usual the Pluuket Nurse -Society will have a mothers' tent on the ground, where every convenience for infants will be available.
