Those people who are unable to laugh at the “Snow Cure” must be in a bad way indeed. It is a veritable fun riot EVERYBODY'S. At the Town Hall on Saturday there was a good house and a most appreciative audience. “The Coal King’ ’was first screened, the plot and its interpretation being both excellent The interest from start to finish never flags. “The Grey Mask” breathes adventure, and startling situations accumulate during the screening of the five separate parts so rapidly and unexpectedly that the audience is keyed up to a pitch of tense excitement, which in no way tends to lax until the fall of the curtain. The opening scenes depict the heroine, Nora Kridel, planning to avenge her father, who has been duped and ruined by a band of schemers, chief among whom is Heim ion, whose virtues are nil and his vices immeasurable. Nora is ably supported by Joe Garth, who has long cherished an affection for her. Reunion, in turn, enlists the leadership of another criminal, -who is known chiefly because of a grey mask which he invariably wears. Garth decides to impersonate him, and then the battle begins in earnest. The avengers gain the confidence of the criminals and proceed on their path of ven- i geance. Eventually vengeance is reaped, and the successful parties are happily united. A splendid cbmecty, “The .Curse of a Name,” completed a programme well worth seeing, and those who missed it. on Saturday should make a point of being present to-night, when it will be screened again for the last time.
