WAIMARINO SHOW.
SOME TAIHAPE SUCCESSES
Perfect weather prevailed for the Waimarino Agricultural and Pastoral Show, which was held at Raetihi yesterday. There was a very large atten;. dance of visitors, many from Taihape being amongst them. The ground is admirably adapted for such exhibitions, in this the Society is particularly fortunate. Ladies of Raetihi had charge of the •"ncheon booth, which they conducted in a>'d of patriotic funds. The excellence of the luncheon provided was the subject of many congratulatory remarks. Entries were well up to expectations in every class, and in several they were well above the average. The quality was also above the average, making competition distinctly keen. The popular horse events disclosed quite a number of Taihape entries, and in fact the majority of prizes were won by Taihape competitors.
