There are no official quotations with the exception of French, 203/ to 208/ per cwt, and Irish factory 194/ to 19.8/. The cheese market continues firm and steady, a rise in prices being recorded owing to the continued small supply. Canadian white per cwt 154/ to 156/; English cheddar 158/ to 160/: States flats 148/ to 150/. The hemp market remains firm. with small supply. The market is ad--1 vancing owing to a strong demand.. Quotations are nominal. Good fair. 66/; fair, 64/. February and April shipments, good fair, 66/; fair, 64/. Government-graded, fair Manila. SO/; coarse, 65/. The output of hemp at Manila for the week ending last Saturday was 22,000 bales. Wheat is firm, the market offerings being very small. Quotations are nominal.
