Arrangements are well in the swimming carnival to be Imki ou Thursday, Feoruary 10, and judging ay the programme and the list of prn.es that are offering there is sure to ha a record entry for each event. Local and country residents are keenly interested, and given a fine day we feel sure the Club will be rewa: fled for its whole-hearted efforts in me interests of the sport by a large gathering. Swimmers are reminded that entries are now being received for the 50 yards handicap race to be held tomorrow night, Thursday, at 5 p.m. for Mr. Todd’s trophy. , The winner of last week’s race, Mr. Deacon, generously handed back Lis prize to the Club for competition at. the sports. j
