ROSEBUD COMPETITION.
There will be an interesting and exciting time at Paddy's Market tonight, when the final results of the competition will be announced Interest in the competition is very keen and at the present time the winner is hard to pick. She may be any one of four candidates. The first count of votes to-day will be at 8 p.m. For this purpose secretaries are requested to hand in cash available at 7 p.m. Paddy’s Market will be well worth a visit, and there will be on sale the best that Taihape town and district can offer in the way of vegetables, cakes, sweets, produce, meat, etc. Positions of all candidates will be notified every half-hour from 8 p.m., and the final as soon after 11 p.m. as possible. At 10.30 p.m., the three art unions will be drav/u in the presence of Sergt Harvey. As soon as possible after 11 p.m. the presentation of Mrs. R. W. Smith’s silver cup to the winning Rosebud will be made by Mr. A. L. Arrowsmith. All are cordially invited to be present at Paddy's Market and windingup ceremony.
