Received 9.45. LONDON, Jan 25. A representative deputation from the local authorities and medical bodies urged Lord Rhondda to introduce legislation to prevent unqualified persons from treating venereal diseases, and to suppress quack advertisements. Lord Rhondda said he realised the burning nature of the question, anc regarded It as one for the most urgent legislation, w-hich would probably be introduced at a nearly date giving effect to the recommendations of the Royal Commission. It was essential that publicity be given to the grave dangers of the scourge ,and that free secret treatment be provided.
