TOKOMARU FLOOD.
| GISBORNE, Jan 24. j The body of Edgar Arnold Lewis, 20, washed away in the flood at Tokomaru Bay, was found yesterday. Wilkins’ wool scouring plant at Waima was completely washed away by the flood, also the approaches to the Mangahahawini bridge, recently restored after the previous flood. Waipiro Bay reports that seventeen inches of rain fell in one day of 24 hours.
