LONDON, Jan. ip. The Swiss press states that German concentrations are rapidly continuing near Basle. The army staff fears an invasion. SWISS MOBILISATION. PARIS, Jan. 18. M. Marcel Hutin states that when the peace movement failed the enemy concentrated large forces in the direction of the Swiss frontier, Switzerland's mobilisation of her second division aims at guarding against every eventuality.
