AMUSEMENTS.
THREE STARS
The change of programme to-night will consist of seven productions, two being star features —"The Final Payment’ ’ by the Lub'in Company, which teaches those inclined to gamble that a final payment is always demanded. The second star is a Triangle-Keystone picture entitled, "His Bread and Butter. ’ 7 ’As the Triangle-Keystones are now well known, there is no need for comment on them. The supporting subjects are varied —"The Borromodc Islands” (.scenic); "The Outlaw” (drama): "With the French Troops”; "The Capo Peninsula” Capetown); Topical Budget. This is a programme we feel sure w.ill please all tastes. EVERYBODY’S. A large audience was attracted last night by the new programme at the Town Hall. The principal attraction i s a Metro film, “The Bridge, or The Bigger Man,” featuring Reno Kelly and Henry Kolkcr, two artists who carry out their parts remarkably well. The photography is uniformly excellent, and the acting reaches a high standard. A few scenes will long be remembered —a riot between strikers and strike breakers, and the intervention of the military. There are suitable minor films in addition. ' The feature of the new programme for Friday will be a Red Feather photoplay in five reels, "The Target,” with Hobart Bosworth in the lead. It is a story of a man who got no reward for being upright and straightforward to his fellowmen.
