ENEMY ATTACKS REPULSED. ’ Received 10.50. LONDON, Jan 16. A French communique states that an eiS*hy coup-de-main in the Somme region, under cover of air torpedoes, gas and shell fire, was easily repulsed, artillery vigorously replied. GERMANS GOING WEST. AMSTERDAM, Jan 15. Reports from the frontier assert that there is a great movement of German troops and guns in full swing westward.
