MUNITIONS FACTORY DESTROYED.
DAMAGE 4,000,000 DOLLARS. Received 9. NEW YORK, Jan. 12. The plant of the Canadian Car Foundry, where 100,000 shells destined for Russia were stored, was destroyed by fire. There was a series of explosions. There are. no ascertained casualties. Fourteen are reported missing. The damage is estimated to be in the vicinity of 4,000,000 dollars.
