The Sultan of Turkey has sent Djahed Bey on an urgent financial mission to Berlin for the purpose of raising money to pay his troops who have not received allowances for many weeks. '''CENTRAL POWERS DIVIDED. BULGARIA ANXIOUS FOR PEACE. •AMSTERDAM, Jan. S. There is growing evidence of dissension among the Central Powers. The Sofia correspondent of the "Vossiche Zeitung" says that Bulgaria cares nothing for sentiment. Though the fear that Bulgaria will forsake her present friends is not great, Germany should put her friendship on a fixed basis. The correspondent points out that there is an agitation against German domination in Bulgaria, and dissatisfaction in Bulgarian patriotic circles at the present "state of affairs is growing. The article has additional significance because of the recent, speech by M. EadoSlavoff, who said: '"'We are ready to conclude peace because we wish to see the cud of the war. The Giornale's Zurich correspondent says the continued absence of KingFerdinand, who has not been in Sofia since the French aeroplanes bombed the Royal palace, causes annoyance.
