Friday, January 12. —Euchre party and dance, Railway Social Hall. Railway Rosebud. Thursday, January 25. —Sale of work and dance —Utiku Rosebud. Secretaries of candidates are requested to notify the organisers of any event in aid of their candidates. P.O. box 53, or telephones 52 or 197. A meeting to form a committee to advance the interests of the Ohutu Rosebud, Jean Campbell, was held in the School last night. Mr. Kennedy was elected chairman and Mr. J. Ross secretary. A strong committee was formed, and judging' from the enthusiasm displayed the Ohutu candidate will be well in the running. It is intended to -hold a dance in schoolroom at an early date. Steps are to be taken to form a sub-commit-tee at Winiata.
