TAIHAPE S. M. COURT.

TAIHAPE, THIS DAY. At the Magistrate's Court this morning, Alfred Murphy, charged with drunkenness, it being his fourth offence Avithin six months, was sentenced to one month's imprisonment in tie Wanganui Gaol. Algot Bostrum, for being drunk a second time Avithin six months, was fined 10/. in default, 48 hours' imprisonment. John Nelson, also charged with being drunk, it being his second offence, was fined 10/, or 48 hours in the lockup, j A first offender for imbibing too freely was convicted and discharged.
