—— ■ ■ HEAVY SENTENCES ON GERMAN WOMEN. BERNE, Oct. 9. Three German, -women living near Casscl have been sentenced for carrying on flirtations with Ereneh prisoners in the camp near that town. The first, whose husband is at the front, fighting against the French, was sentenced to 15 months' hard labour; the second, whose husband was killed whilst fighting against the Ereneh, was sentenced to ten months' hard labour; and the third, whose husband is in the Landsturm on the lines of communication, was- sentenced to four months' imprisonment. At Schlewlitz, Prussia,! two girls were fined 25s and 20s respectively for chatting in a friendly way with prisoners of war.
