WOMEN'S WORKING CLUB.
PADDY'S MARKET RESULTS. At a meeting on Wednesday evening of the executive of the Paddy's Marker, a balance sheet was presented showing that as a result of last Saturday's effort £147 l(is had been raised after all expenses had been paid. As there is about another £5 in donations still to come in, the final count shotiM be about £153.
Mr Flavin, who won the sheep guessing competition, has donated the amount of the prize—£l —to the elub. Owhg to a clerical error, the length of the pole was advertised as 16ft 2£ inches. The correct length was 16feefc SI inches. All competitions were worked out in tho presence of a committee of 12, Sergeant Matthews also being present.
